The 2010 colloquium will be held between Thursday 9 September and Saturday 11 September at the University of Sheffield. The conference venue will be the newly refurbished Halifax Hall, and accommodation will be in brand-new en-suite university accommodation just to the West of the main university site. Biography-writing in the historiography of linguistics will be a major theme of the colloquium, but you are also invited to propose additional themes for sessions. As usual, proposals for papers on any topic within the history of linguistics are welcome. The conference programme, further information, and the booking form are now available. |

The 2009 Colloquium of the Henry Sweet Society for the History of Linguistic Ideas took place at Jesus College Oxford between Monday 14 September and Thursday 17 September.
