Our aim is that this section of the site should include an archive of
photographs, documenting the history of the Society from its foundation to the present. In the meantime, here is a brief summary followed by two short articles from the 30th edition of the Society's Bulletin, which appeared in 1998, one by Professor Konrad Koerner and the other by Dr Vivian Salmon.
